hCG is an acronym for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. hCG is a protein hormone present both in men and women but mostly produced in greater amounts during a woman's pregnancy. Dr. Simeons realized that malnourished women from Africa still gave birth to healthy babies. His studies attributed that the elevated levels of hCG directly affected the hypothalamus which mobilized the mother’s stored fat. In a non-pregnant person his research suggests hCG similarly increases the metabolism similar to a pregnant female. The hypothalamus gland moderates the thyroid, adrenals, fat storage, and more importantly your metabolic rate. For weight loss Dr. Simeones used a very small amount of hCG to capitalize on these effects and conducted years of research using hCG for weight loss with his patients. Using hCG for dieting does not mimic pregnancy.
Using hCG for dieting dates back to the 1950’s, it is a protocol designed by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons. Dr. A.T.W. Simeons was well know for his studies and research background. He discovered the use of injectable atebrin for malaria for which he was awarded a Red Cross Order of Merit. He conducted extensive research on bubonic plague and leprosy control. Dr. Simeons is the author of several medical books and has contributed to many scientific publications.
Dr. Simeons treated obesity regulary with small injections of hCG along along with a 500 calorie diet to capitalize on the effects of metabolizing stored (adipose) fat. It was common for his patients to lose a pound or more per day.
There are two available books about the use of hCG: “Pounds and Inches" by Dr. Simeons and Kevin Trudeau's book "The Weight Loss Cure They Don't Want You to Know About”.

We are required to post the following statement that the FDA requires in order to be in legal compliance when advertising about HCG. We strongly disagree with this statement because it is a well known fact that there are thousands of people who have had great success losing weight with the help of HCG. The FDA has not approved HCG and there is no substantial evidence that HCG is effective in the treatment of obesity. hcg has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. there is no substantial evidence that in increases weight loss beyond that resulting from from caloric restriction, that is causes a more attractive or "normal" distribution of fat, or that it decreases hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.
